Applications

The 3M 1184F Cubitron 3 sanding belt with the redesigned Cubitron 3 ceramic grain outperforms the previous generation of 3M abrasive belts with its increased performance. It is available in 36+ grit for medium and high pressure applications for grinding castings and other heavy-duty abrasive materials such as steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys, cobalt and chrome.
The 3M 1184F Cubitron 3 sanding belt, with its long life and very fast cutting performance, helps increase productivity and minimize belt changes in manual and automatic applications.
Cubitron 3's modified ceramic grit wears evenly, does not heat up and stays sharp for the life of the abrasive belt. It also cuts with less pressure, which helps reduce operator effort.
